Met de verkoop van deze poppy hangers willen we geld bijeenbrengen voor de “Taxi Charity for Military Veteranen” in London.
Iedere poppy is met de hand gemaakt en daardoor zijn ze allemaal verschillend.
Deze “Taxi Charity for Military Veterans” is begonnen in Fulham in 1948.
Zij organiseren voor “veteranen van alle conflicten” internationale reizen aan naar Nederland, België en Frankrijk. Dagtochten naar concerten, musea en transport om bij geld inzamelingsacties aanwezig te kunnen zijn. Ook organiseren ze speciale dagen voor de militairen om met hun vrienden en kameraden in contact te blijven.
Om dit alles te kunnen bekostigen en faciliteren zijn ze volledig afhankelijk van donaties van onder andere het publiek, bedrijven en de groep Londense taxi chauffeurs die vrijwillig hun voertuig en tijd te beschikking stellen.
Van elke verkochte Poppy (€ 5,00) doneren we € 1,50 naar dit goede doel.

Welcome to the Taxi Charity
The Taxi Charity for Military Veterans was formed in Fulham in 1948.
We offer international trips to Holland, Belgium and France, day trips to concerts or museums, transport to attend fundraising events, as well as special days out to catch up with friends and comrades.
To fund and facilitate these outings, the charity is wholly reliant on donations from members of the public, businesses and trusts and the amazing group of London taxi drivers who volunteer their time and vehicles so willingly.
We sell the poppies for € 5,00 and from each poppy sold we donate € 1,50 to the Taxi Charity for Military Veterans.
